How "Infinite Boutique" started ?
Infinite Boutique started long before the first online sale.
At 16 and 17, while still in college, I was already selling keychains to classmates. I learned how people choose gifts, how to talk to customers, and how small details matter.
At 18, I opened my first bank account and invested the Rs 20,000 government allowance given at age 18 into the business. That money became my starting capital. I used it carefully for stock, packaging, and marketing. Within months, Infinite Boutique became profitable.
Before launching properly, I spent 2 years researching. I studied competitors, compared pricing strategies, tested several suppliers products. Learned about delivery systems across Mauritius, understood customs rules and shipping costs, learned packaging, branding, and customer psychology.
By 2023 to 2024, I was ready.
I launched Infinite Boutique seriously on TikTok at 18 years old, doing everything alone. No investors. No partners. No team.
Product sourcing. Branding. Marketing. Customer support. Packing. Postage across Mauritius. Face to face deliveries after college. Pickup arrangements. Tracking parcels. Solving problems. Every order had my effort behind it.
The Growth
I sold over 200+ keychains to 150+ satisfied customers across Mauritius. Orders were delivered islandwide through postage, face to face meetups, and pickups.
Then Infinite Boutique started getting attention.
Our TikTok content went viral, reaching over 500k impressions, more than 300k views in total, and building a community of 1300+ followers who supported the brand.
Why I Paused
I stopped in 2024 because of new regulations requiring a BRN to operate an online business. At the same time, I was preparing bigger projects and long term plans. Infinite Boutique did not fail.
It paused to grow.
Infinite Boutique Future
Infinite Boutique will return. Stronger, structured, and bigger.
The vision is not only online sales anymore. I am planning multiple physical shops across Mauritius and expanding the brand into something much larger.
Infinite Boutique was never just about keychains.
It proved that a student no connections, and no team could build something real through patience, research, and discipline.
This was only chapter one.
The comeback will be bigger.
